Henrik Ibsen made a point of noting that every woman in Denmark would admit that she did the best she could with the circumstances of life. She also gave a number of examples of how the housewives in Denmark are able to survive life in the H.I. world.When Henrik Ibsen wrote this essay, he thought that the wives of the H.I. were probably trying to prevent the marriages of their husbands to any other women who might have power.Henrik Ibsen thought that the problem with the H.I. culture was that the wives were so preoccupied with not allowing the male members of the family to succeed that they did not pay enough attention to their own children.
